Ultrasurf on Mobile?

So many people who have used Ultrasurf, the popular anti-censorship software, on their PC are looking for a mobile version which I believe doesn't exist. The only mobile software I know close to it is Opera Mini. Opera Mini is not actually an anti-censorship software like ultrasurf, it's only a light weight, java based mobile web browser that allows you to access the web via dedicated servers. It works well on high and low end mobile phones as long as it is java enabled..

Any requested web page is first sent to opera mini server which in turn sends the data to your destination, it receives the web page and changes it to a mobile format which is rendered on your phone's screen. Your phone must be java enabled to use this browser though. Opera mini boasts of 30 million users worldwide. Opera Mini latest version doesn't support flash and video content and user interactive javascript is also disabled...but the good news is that it connects you to sites you are censored from.

In some cases, certain network administrators block Opera server and that is why there are so many modified versions out there, commonly called Opera Mods. These mods allow you to add customized servers, you can also hide the fact that you are using opera browser from your network administrator by using adding working cgi proxy before your server.

There are other good mobile web browsers out there that process your request via remote servers and BOLT, TEASHARK and UCWEB are quite good too.

Since web pages are compressed up to 90 percent of their original sizes, opera mini is a fast web browser that gets you where you wanna go. I suggest you get it if you wanna get past that web filter.
